Our Story
Pfiffner Design Build was established by two brothers in 2000. Wanderlust ultimately brought us to Missoula, MT where we fell in love with the nature surrounding us and built our lives around our new venture.
Growing up off-grid in rural Wisconsin we quickly learned to value the wilderness surrounding us from a young age. We were raised with an admiration for the environment around us and taught to be environmentally conscious as we enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. We are the third generation in our family to be in the construction field. Our interests in timber and construction came from our father to whom we owe much of our knowledge to his teachings as we began helping him around the age of 10.
Our Mission
Pfiffner Design-Build is a small design and construction company that specializes in traditional timber frame and log construction, custom doors, and specialty woodwork. Old world craftsmanship, traditional joinery, and enduring design are our hallmarks. We not only specialize in timber frame but offer general contracting services.
